  • Multiphase flow  modelling of  reactors/contactors  for understanding hydrodynamics, heat and mass transfer, and chemical reaction; 
  • Development of integrated biorefinery concept for biofuels and food grade pigment  from algal biomass through process simulation, techno-economic evaluation and life cycle assessment; 
  • Development for advanced biofuels production from microalgae  by thermochemical conversion method including fast pyrolysis and hydrothermal liquefaction.
