(Unreserved)		 1st Class M.Sc in Food Science OR Foods and Nutrition with a minimum of seven years of post qualification R&D experience or Ph.D in Food Science and Nutrition with a minimum of four years of post doctoral R&D experience in the area of development of the new process knowhow/ products concerning food and nutrition in R&D  Institutions / commercial research institutions, with proven ability in the development of nutritional products based on the R&D expertise.
 Experience in handling various projects as the leader of project team.  Proven record of industrial exploitation of the technology developed by the candidate and Knowledge of computer applications Development of innovative methodologies for creating  new process know-how / products in the area of food and nutrition; generation of external cash flow by undertaking Sponsored and Consultancy Projects on the development of food products, their nutritional quality and formulation of functional foods.

(Unreserved)		 1st Class M.Sc in Molecular Biology or  Biotechnology with a minimum of seven years of post qualification R&D experience or Ph.D in the area of Biotechnology (in the field of Molecular Biology) or Molecular Biology with a minimum of four years of Post Doctoral R&D experience in R&D institutes / commercial research institutions in the area of molecular biology as related to food technology and food processing, with proven ability of cost competitive process development.
 Experience in handling various projects as the leader of project team.  Proven record of industrial exploitation of the technology developed by the candidate and Knowledge of computer applications.
 Development of innovative methodologies and analytical assay procedures for the study molecules involved in the plant life and molecular biology processes; development of molecular biology intervention strategies to aid food processing; generation of external budgetary resources by undertaking sponsored and consultancy projects in the area of molecular biology as related to food processing, safety aspects and development of new molecular biology tools.
