1st Class M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry with a minimum of ten years of post qualification R&D experience OR Ph.D in Analytical Chemistry with a minimum of Seven years of Post Doctoral R&D experience in R&D institute or commercial research institutes in the area of analysis of foods and food products for quality, safety, toxicant residues in addition to innovative screening of bioactive molecules, with proven ability of cost competitive process development.
Experience in handling various projects as the leader of project team.  Proven record of industrial exploitation of the technology developed by the candidate and Knowledge of computer applications.
Development of innovative methodologies and assay procedures to (a) analyze and control the quality of food and agri-materials, (b) levels of different additives and chemicals nutrients, contaminants, toxicants and residues by using sophisticated analytical instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, GC-MS, GC-IR etc.; developing innovative screening  methodologies / techniques to screen natural food materials and their byproducts for bioactive compounds and development of innovative process for isolation and purification of natural products; generation of external cash flow by undertaking Sponsored and Consultancy Projects on the evaluation of food products, its nutritional quality and food safety including bioactive compounds from natural sources.

1st  class M.Sc in Food Technology with a minimum of ten years of post qualification R&D experience OR M.Tech in Food Technology with a minimum of eight years of post qualification R&D experience or Ph.D in Food Science / Food Technlogy with a minimum of seven years of post doctoral R&D experience in R&D institutes / commercial research institutes in the area of meat processing, meat industry by product utilization and value addition to meat products, with proven ability of cost competitive process development.
Experience in handling various projects as the leader of project team.  Proven record of industrial exploitation of the technology developed by the candidate Knowledge of computer applications
Development of innovative methodologies in Meat Processing technology, by product utilization; generation of external cash flow by undertaking Sponsored and Consultancy Projects on meat processing, by product utilization, value addition, nutritional quality of meat products and food safety.
