Fellowship Stipend
Fellows will receive stipend of Rs. 20,000/- per month in advance every month and it is
sufficient enough to cover boarding, lodging and other expenditures.
Working Hours
Fellows are required to be present and working in the lab only during CFTRI office
hours: 0830 - 1300 and 1400 - 1730, Monday through Friday. Any absence from the
office must be reported to and approved by the Fellow's Supervisor. |

Atmosphere
There is a friendly and social atmosphere among our fellows, who come at any time from a
wide range of different countries. Living and working closely together and sharing leisure
time activities bring them all together with the focus of learning as a primary goal.
Working Facilities
Each Fellow is given a working place, desk and storage facilities and access to the Internet worldwide. CFTRI has an extensive library, which contains many
books on food technology, Food science and technology journals, newsletters, magazines and
a resource centre for knowledge. The Library is open on sundays and saturdays except on
National Holidays.
